From what i heard the 4awg amp kits in wal mart are pretty good. What are you inputs in walmart amp kits?

For the money they're not too bad, actually.

The ones they sell currently are not the same as when I bought one long ago - I don't know are they better or worse (the packaging is considerably more flashy...)

But for what, like $25 for the most involved one? Kinda hard to go wrong with all that comes in it.

Yep, I bought a kit over a year ago.. still works fine. I've never had any problems.

I had one for damm near 4-5 years and up till i upgraded,didnt have 1 single problem with it.But that sukks they downgraded.

My friend at tsunami said that sometimes some companies like DB-Link and Scosche use strands of steel that look like copper thats why they are also cheaper than Stinger, Monster, and Tsunami.

Find a heavy duty truck supplier, they usually carry wire, and make your own...thats what i did. I bought all 4 gauge wire, fuses everything for $21
