My local bank does retarded stuff to me. On top of that they took 100 from a friend of mine as well.

You always have recourse. Confront them about the errors. If the problems are not resolved, take your money elsewhere. I know you dont like confrontation... so do it over the phone if you must. Just get it done.

Thats probably what I'll do.

There's no real point in being an angry black man in a bank. I could get arrested or something.

But, I'm probably going to keep my account there anyway. But, get another for my daily needs.

I've had one too many mishaps with my account.

i use wachovia for their ease of online banking/bill pay/transfers

This is exactly why I use BoA. lol I can't BELIEVE how much shit I can do online with these folks... and I also can't believe how long I stayed with a small-town "local" bank for their supposed "service". lol

It seems like every other week since I joined BoA a few months ago, I find out something new about the available services that wows me.

I chose Wachovia because of a program they had. They no longer offer it, but we are grandfathered in. Both me and my wife do Direct Deposits for our paychecks. Under this plan as long as one paycheck is Directly deposited and we don't use actual tellers more than twice in a month, we aren't charged various fees for anything. One of the fees waived is charges for using other banks ATMs. that was the main kicker for me signing up for it. We are contemplating Going with Chuck soo though. Even though their are no branches near us, it would make sense because we don't use local branches anyways. Chuck refunds the fees other banks charge you on ATMs. We could get out checks directly deposited to Chuck and not pay a **** dime for any ATm and that is sounding really good.

Indeed. BoA allows me to watch my portfolio during the day even though e-trade is blocked at work. It's pretty nifty...and I haven't seen any of the fees others have seen.

I use Bank of America. They have a very good online banking system. They're customer service is always good when i need it. And a few months ago i had my card info stolen and someone made some purchases with it, they handled it very quickly and i got every single cent back in 3 days.

all 3 good banks but I would say bank of america because it is the biggest bank in the US
