W7 vs. my Xtants?

i have 2 12 Xtants right now, but i am thinking of upgrading. do you think that one (can't afford 2) JL 12w7 is going to be way louder than my 2 12's? i have heard em in a store, but not in a car before. and are they just loud? or do they sound good too? i did a search and it seems like a lot of people aren't satisfied with em...

and how much you think that i can get for the Xtants? they are kinda old, i don't know the model number, but they are the round ones with the hex shape inside the rubber. i think they are 800 watts max, 400 rms. they say Xtant A in them i think.

If you have the money for a W7 then go for it. It would be a step up from the Xtants

I think in the right set-up te W7 could be louder and would be a step up from what you have now. Look at other Supersubs that are cheaper (IDmax, Brahma, etc)

and also, i would second the suggestion to look at other subs. they will be cheaper, and i think you would be way happier with them(mostly because of the lower price and comparible performance to the W7)

i know that i need the right box, but i am just wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade... I like my Xtants, but you know how it is. after a while, you just want something new. and i have an explorer so you are pretty much sitting on the sub. if 1 JL is going to improve my system a lot, then i would think about it. it is still a lotta $$$
