W7 box build...again

thanks folks...

box is nearly completed.....

just waiting for glue to dry...then ill put it in and see how it sounds.

EDIT: top isnt square on last pic because it was just placed on there for a pic....its actually squared up now that its glued.

all done...pics up in a few minutes....

im pleased with it...its not as loud as the 2.8 @ 36hz with the 6'' aeroport box..

buuut...its louder than the 3 @ 33hz box.

SQ is suprising good on it...quite accurate...might be the most accurate one ive built for it so far.

EDIT for pics: (sorry for crappy quality...taken w/ my phone.)

ive got a box with like a ~40 inch port, ive hit 145 with my W7 at like 55 or 56Hz. its 3.75cubes, grey carpet. its for sale if anyone wants it for like fitty bucks plus whatever shipping is. btw, that front looks too thin. its gotta be at least an inch thick if ur doin SPL with a W7 in a box like that. you dont want it to rip itself out
Good God you're a complete idiot.

And btw carl, very nice enclosure work. I was going to comment that you had a bit too much port area for daily, but I see that it isn't just for that. Good work. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thankies..

i didnt feel like doing the cuts myself for this one, so i took it to lowe's...they messed up a bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

the top doesnt really sit too flush...as you can see in the last pair of pics...i think thats about all they did wrong though.

its nice to have stuff cut up for you when your busy though.

Is that one of Moes plans? I want to try another box for my W7 and don't really know what to build......
nope mine.

hit me on AIM (huebs05) or pm me on here...ive got a few plans for my 12W7 that ive done in the past and been very pleased with.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
