w6v2 making wierd noise

my w6v2 only on some base makes a wierd ratteling noise? any ideas what might be up so i need a recone? it still pounds and sounds like new. what would have caused this to happen?

Could be bottoming out, Could be the VC misaligned and is rubbing on certain notes, could be tinsel lead slap...

it could* be small leaks between the sub and the box. i played my w6v2 with only 4 screws holding it in and there was quite a bit of suspension noise. once i put in the other screws, majority of the noise went away. just a possibility...
