w3v3 enclosure

what is the enclosure that will give me the highest spl. its in a sealed box but thinkin about gettin it ported if its that much louder.

and any suggestions on if the 500/1 would be my best bet for 2 12s.

you may want more power for 2 12"w3v3's. as for a box, id go for about 1.25-1.5 cuft per driver and tune it between 35 and 40 hz.

thoes would need 500rms each to get to there potential imo.

Jl recommends at least 1.75^3 for a 12w3v3 ported. Like stated if you want all they can do you will want a 1000/1. If you can fit 2^3 each tuned to like 32hz that would be better. Forget sealed if you want SPL out of them.

the 1000/1 is good but for the money i would look into a sundown saz1000 or saz1500. the sundown amps are more efficent than the jl amp

JL 1000/1 is a great amp. Just dont pay retail. If you havent noticed the economy is in the dumps. I can get a new 1000/1 w/ warrenty at my dealer right now for $500.

haha yes i have noticed the economy and that why i asked about that onlinecarstereo website. bc i saw a 1000/1 for 640 or somethin like that but idk if it is a good site to purchase off of
