w3v2 VS. D6

1 cuft ported and tuned to 32hz each to work with.

what would you prefer? i want the best low response i can get from either sub. i can sacrifice some spl for low end impact.

I dont think that the w3v2'S can take 1000 watts RMS, My girlfriend has 2 12's with 500 watts RMS on them, and they get decently loud.

thats the biggest box i can have. i don't want to be riding on the steerng wheel. this maxes out my available space while keeping me comfortable. right over 2 cubes

it'll be gained down and the box is built to w3v2 specs but i am wondering if the d6 would be a better choice

the D6 is a better sounding sub to my ears, oh and the power issue, you would smoke the hell out of that JL if you decided to get stupid with it.

yeah. i am gonna be conservative with the gains. i don't get stoopid with volume either.

either way i think that the D6 is the way to go.

d6 i had two 12w3v2 and was not very impressed.

D6's are excellent subs,I prefer 12s over 10s

however you will find that D6s sound alot better than the w3 and are more like w6s catagoricly

Make the box bigger and tune the port to 20hz or something, to get down lower. Either that, or put them in a large sealed box.
