w00t got my TV

For those of you that do not know, I had recently ordered a Samsung HL-S5086W, a 50" Samsung DLP HDTV.

Well, today I took delivery of it, and have hooked it up. Have my 360 hooked up via component, my DVD player via component, and my HD tuner box hooked up through HDMI/DVI adaptor (box only has DVI output).

I have to calibrate the TV, but from messing with the settings a little bit, it looks amazing. HD channels can look better, I'm trying to figure out how to change it from 1080i to 720p on my box.

Xbox360 looks AMAZING. It looks nuts. I've been playing RB6: Vegas and it's crazy. Love it.

my cable only puts out 1080i, no way that I know off how to change it.

On the console start it without a disc, and go to settings, and there will be an are to change it to the 1080i setting.

I have GOW but I absolutely **** at it. I have yet to put down RB6 over the past 5 days...this game is amazing.

havent got that yet, just got gow and nfs carbon for xmas all the other new games i got for the ps3 which sucks cuz all my peoples got thee 360 , send the invite and we could race or have shootouts when u decide to put another disk in

My cable box was outputting 480i by default, finally figured out how to get into the advanced settings and output 1080i/720p.

i know i'll be watching
