seems pretty cheap to me... 1.5 million for a "56-acre site is being marketed as a "gorgeous" property" and "network of underground tunnels and silos"

If you had the cash, you could make one sick resort out of that. Your own airstrip, underground pools, stores, restaurant, etc. It would be expensive, but really cool.

there are a couple of these silo homes already done, but the price was in the 10 mil area....looked cool and would be handy for your run of the mill thermonuclear exchange.

allthough, im guessing it would be "whats the point" to survive after the nukes go off. Lots of crispy people would be wanting to come over and house sit for you.

went to a guys house that was built in a missle base (theres a good deal of them around here) and it was possibly one of the most amazing houses i have ever been in. pillarless rooms as big as my house.
