VOTE HELP 2nd Battery or Not???

Ok heres what i got going im running all new 0guage doing the big3 and putting a yellow top up front. Now question is should i run a second battery with my stock alt?? Im running 2k RMS right now but going to add 4ch amp also. Im buying the yellowtop and the person im getting from has 2 for sale and they both for good price sooo... Should i add a second yellowtop in the back or do you think its gonna hurt my alt? I do have lifetime warranty on my alt though too lol but i don't wanna spend hella on HO amp only because theres a good chance ima get a new car in future... SOOOO YA... Second Yellowtop in back??? YES??? NO??? Explain.. Thanks Guys

Any way i can actually measure my alt output? cuz i did buy it reconditioned so i have the lifetime warranty.. Might be a little more beefy but iunno

I would do a second battery your alternator only is going to put out if your saying 70 amps, Its going to put that out until it goes over then it shuts off so if your pulling say 100 amps of current then your alternator isnt doing anything while you have your system on, I would suggest to go with another battery and also buy a small battery charger to charge up the batteries frequently. Just saying if you have 2 decent size batteries your stock alternator will never fully charge both of them.

with only a 70 amp alt that will put alot of strain on it trying to keep 2 batts charged. i say one bat and big three and you should be fine

Alright ill try just the big 3 and yellowtop first any dimming ill throw another bat back there. Thanks for input guys.. Any more opinions LET ME KNOW still post!!!
