Volume of subwoofer stops increasing

Dont worry about irritating people, if you have a question ask if people dont want to answer they dont have to. You should read through the stickies on here, and bcae1.com has alot of info also.

So I guess a question if the rms output is upped by volume and you can't go past a certain volume how it the hell do u ever push an amp to do its full rms rating at half volume on a hu?

I am going to make this as simple as possible. You set the headunit to where you plan on playing it then set the gain with a dmm to the calaculated voltage. Puts out full rms at the set volume give or take a few.

to add to this, if you only listen to music, i like to use -3 tones, for those who only listen to musics. but some people use db tones. really up to the user. if your amp puts out a considerable amount more than your woofers can handle i would use a 0db tone.

What was the brand and model of the 1000w amp that you had , and what is the brand and model of the 1500w amp you currently have, and what is the final ohm load ( DCR ) the subwoofers are wired at.
