Voltage Drop Help!

My problem is when i turn my stereo on 3/4 the bass cuts in and out, I believe this is due to voltage drop but not sure. When the bass cuts out the Low Voltage lights lights up on my amp. I dont know what to do, i have so much money tied up in this system and im very dissapointed. I Ran out of ideas here. I have a 13.5 JL W7 with 1000/1. 160 HO Alternator, Big 3 upgrade (4AWG), Kinetik 800 in trunk, Redtop Battery up front. 4AWG wire. I do however have alot of acessories in the car. 3 amps, 2 compressors,few lights. Is it too much for my electrical system? Could it be bad RCA's? Something wrong with my HU?

Weird thing is Say if my HU is on Vol 20 and the bass cuts in and out, i can turn it to Vol 21 or 19 and it wont cut out for awhile.

Your HO alt is only 160A? That's probably not enough, how many watts are you running total? What amps are you running?

You should have done your big 3 and main power run in 1/0 instead of 4 gauge...

Bigger wire.

x2 bigger wire.....4 gauge is too small for the big 3 upgrade IMO

bigger wire for big 3 and run the the amps. how much wattage do you have?

Well if you're not getting a clue when the "low voltage light" comes on, I don't know what to tell you.

Im running a 1000/1 for the sub, a memphis 600/4 for the mids, and a sony 1200 watt for the highs. Could the problem be with my RCA's? Could they be bad? And i was told 160amp is the highest that i could go.

as for the alt call rob at dc power inc or mechman and they have bigger ones for the car...
