i have 17 feet of welding wire and over 20 feet of sound quest 0 guage which would be better for me to use to do my 0 gauge upgrade?

no difference what-so-ever. use whichevers more flexible. and hell honestly, if the welding wire is black i would use that for big 3.

If the company is truly conforming to AWG standards then both the wires will be the same.

sound quest is made by stinger. my stinger HPM sucks..... i would use the welding wire

Use whichever has the larger conductor. If they're the same, use the more flexible one.

I 100% disagree... my welding cable is 100x more flexible than my KNU klmx series

Most jacketing on welding cable is made from butyl rubber, neoprene, or the like; which is generally more durable and resistant to the elements then the jacketing used on car audio cable. (especially plasticized PVC which is very common, and IMO junk!)

Hit the wire with a DMM and see which has lower resistance.
