volfenhag woofers??????

has anyone heard of this company or their woofers?????

I don't know much about woofers and was wondering if these or pyle were good companies. If not what would you suggest for high quality.

Also what amps would you choose to power any selection?

I was not impressed with the Volfenhag subs at all. My friend has 2 of the 12's and he let me hear them, They were ok at a moderate level. But as soon as he put the full power to them they sounded like S***, they would totaly miss certian nots/tones, and the bass wasnt hard hitting at all. My 2 10" L7's go louder/hit harder then his 12's.

What is your price-rang for subs/amps, and I could give you some suggestions.

well my budget for the whole system is about 2k

the two radios i have in mind are a sony ($499) and a pioneer ($550).

That leaves me with 1-1.5k to spend on speakers and woofers.

I was hoping to go with two 10", two 12", 6.5 " components for the front and kick pannel, 6x8" in the rear, and amps to power it all.

The vehicle is a ford bronco.

Any suggestions help.

My last setup was all infinity referenece with two jensen 10" woofers but I hoped to get something a bit better sounding.

as far as the head unit goes, i would go with the pioneer DEH-P740, it looks good, and it's all you need, they're like 300-350. which leaves you with plenty more money on the subs, speakers and amps

I have owned a Voflenhag sub and just recently sold it. It was alright at moderate high levels but as said before it does tend to miss at high volumes. It's a good starter sub, to see if you want to get into the sport. I do sudgest that you give it's rms power however; they are serverly overated in their power ratings. Also try to buy/build a very tight sealed box, they don't like ported at all.
