Volfenhag Subs...

Haha...so I went broke and cant get the AQ subs like I originally planned and am now forced to go a good bit cheaper on my sound...but was looking at Volfenhag ZX-4715DVX 15" subs...anyone ever had any and know how well/bad they perform? or have a general overview on the manufacturer??

Yea, save your money or look through the classified's on here. I'm sure you can find something alot better then that. If you are desperate and can't wait and need something cheap look into the Memphis PR's. I believe they are around $80-90 shipped.

a volfenhag stabbed my sister with it's extreme excursion a few years back.......those subs scare me a little.

they arent that bad. i had a pair of the 12's in a sealed box on 450 watts rms each in my first car. they got loud, and i had no problems with them. used them in 3 cars actually. then finally sold them and moved on.

true, but they weren't bad. they made bass, and took 450 watts each. they are rated at 500 each, so they will take rated power. they moved quite a bit of air in my little old 2 door cavalier. i scared a few people with them but of course they had never heard a loud system before..

i have 3 i5 inch 1200s and 4 10inch 1000s in a 1991 crx si and powered by 2 memphis mojo 2500s i hit on a average of high 150s i like these subs. every one is hooked on all these other name brands when these at about 100 dollars a piece are good yes you get what you paid for... but i have been reading some of the comments on these woofers and i believe that some of the people that have had bad times with these subs just probably do not know what they are doing i have 2 mojo 2500s amps 2 stinger 1000 dry cells if your not running these you are far behind in times stay away from the optima batteries i like stinger because their is no gel or acid in the battery a true dry cell

all my cables are 2g and down and a 160 amp alternator 2 caps and many more items make sure you cover your grounds in your car first before putting these woofers in they have treated me good

I'm sold on these things until i hear a better woofer for the money
