Volfenhag amps any good

They are good at a few things. I have one and it does awesome at keeping papers from blowing away and holding my door open. I have an older house and the door naturally wants to close. Another one came in handy when I had to jack my car up. It was a slight incline so it resting as a wheel choke might have saved my life. They definitely have a place in audio. It could probably push your kickers, put some wheels on it and put it on a ramp, as it slides down put your sub at the bottom of the ramp and I bet it will push it 6 to 9 inches.

I would go 0 gauge. I would recommend ofc but I have been using cca on a few budget installs and it works pretty good. I haven't pushed past the 1200-1500 mark with it. But if you're serious about audio, better to do the 0 gauge ofc so that's one thing you won't have to change later

Thx for the info. Hey this might be a lil off topic but what brand amp kits are any good do i need a 4 or 0 Guage I'm thinking to eventually upgrading to around 1200-1500 watt rms system
Get a good amp that does clean power and you can put 1500 rms into those kickers with db on 0 as long as the box is big enough like 4-5 cubic feet.

Say what? That's a pretty stout claim. Do you know which cvr's he has? I realize that the cvr has only been around since either the late 90's or early 00's. Kicker must be seriously under rated and overlooked to be able to handle double their rms but with a large 45 oz magnet that should be a given...

I know for a fact the 07 dcvr124's can. I'm not on kickers nuts but that's what I'm running in a 4.5 cubic foot box. And as far as I know there isn't multiple kinds of cvr's except dcvr122 and dcvr124.

They have changed many times over their 10+ year run. What amp are you running as it must be nice and clean or the sub/box combo must rise quite a bit. I just am not in the habit of telling people that their subs can handle double rated, as that leads to them having issues

Lol if you read my post I said in a 4-5 cube box on an amp that does clean power. My amp is an SPL Z1X-3000D.

I ran them on 1200 rms for 2 years and upped them to 1500 almost a year ago. No clipping, no voltage drops, no bottoming out or anything. Impedence is 1.1 ohms
