f***. is the extreme heat due to improper gain settings? the professional installer set the gains and settings for me... :\

I have another brand new 12" type R in my room that I was gonna sell but I may as well pop that in now.

Anyone with an answer to why it would overheat? my installer set up the amp settings for me and the gain is at like 30%. and it's only about 80-85 degrees F* outside max
