Voice coil help please

Hey guys this is probably a really dumb question but i fried the voice coils in one of my subs and i cant find a cheap one that is the exact same size so im wondering if i can get one that is the same width and diameter but just a little bit taller will that work? I can get a new recone kit but they cost **** near the same amount as the sub lol any help is greatly appreciated...

Will the coil work? Sure.

Could you make it work? Sure... if your willing to buy new spiders, cone, dustcap and glue.

Are you asking to just replace a blown coil with your old softies? Not going to happen.

Sorry forgot to put that in... Its an infinit reference 1062w... I think they stopped mking them which os why i cant seem to find anything for it

Throw it in the trash or use it as a magnetic tray. Not worth fixing it.

Yeah its an old cheapo sub i pretty much got it so when it did break i could teach myself how to fix subs... Better to teach yourself on a cheap one than an expensive one huh but alright guess its gonna go haha thanks
