Voice Coil coming off

So I just picked up a sub today. It looks like the voice coil is coming off of the sub, like if you stick your fingernail underneath it, it comes up. How can I fix this? Also, the outer voice coil is very hard, is that normal? I just want to make sure I didn't buy a busted sub.

Here's what it looks like normally:

And here with my fingernail:

Well....first things first; That's the spider, not the voice coil.

2nd, if you bought this sub brand new, send it back in for warranty work as it should not be that way.

If you bought it used, did the seller tell you the spider was loose? If not, I'd have serious issues with him. But, if the sub is not warrantied (i.e. you bought it used or unauthorized), epoxy will fix it.

And yes, the spider will be relative stiff, which is what you are referring to.

Thanks. Just got a little bit worried when I got it home and looked at it hard. Anything else I can use instead of epoxy? That stuff is kind of thich and ugly and hard to work with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Get that spider rebonded to the frame before messing around with it.
