Visual Basic: easy question

I just started taking the class, and i'm not sure how to display the result of a click event into a text box in the form, rather than a message box.

I know it is a shot in the dark, but anyone?

i remember the days of vb 3, 4 , and 5. 3.0 was my fav. with all the .dll files you could enhance programs with. i made quite a few good programs on aol as well.
