Visonik vs. JBL?

ok, i own 2 10s visoniks with a visonik amp, runnin 700w, 350 each.

my brother on the other hand, is runnin 2 12s JBLs on a crunch amp, but im not sure bout the specs. anyway, his is MUCH stronger, but hes been running his for a while. I just got mine, and im wondering how loud my truck is

that is visoniks for you, and if it says 700w check the ohm ratings to the subs, alot of the time you'll be pushing half of that, but it should still hit pretty good...

you have to be careful of visionik,sometimes their ratings are way off. for example they have got those visionik 12 sub/amp/box combos at walmart on close out for $20.00 . it says 500w peak and 250w rms, then on the side of the box in tiny letters it says CEA-2006 37rms @ 4 ohms with 1%thd.

what size is the fuse in the amp?

shit im not sure, it could either be a 20 or a 40, but the amps fuse is a 20

ohms law states volts x amps= watts. so14 .4volts X 20 amps =288 watts . but you do not get all of that to your speakers , you only get 50 to 60% of that with a normal amplifier, the rest is lost to heat so: 288 x .6 = 173 watts rms possible on 20 amps.

a 20 amp fuse will hold almost twice its rating for a second or two at a time so a 300 watt 'peak' is possible.

No competition. The JBL is much stronger brand, better reputation and far bettery quality.

Hate to break it to ya but Visonik just ain't the greatest.
