the mod just cuts the protect so you can run it at 1 ohm, doesnt make it 1 ohm STABLE, dropping voltage like that its gonna smoke, people do it for comps, they are current hogs to begin with, good luck

Ya I was always curious what the "mod" exactly did, I know it let it run @ lower imp is all, when I got it repaired the first time i blew the mosfets I asked vince to take a look and to see exactly what was modded, he said only a few resisitors were removed.

Hell, I might go back to 2 ohm tonight after making a video or 2, I made it quick interchangeable with posts for every voice coil + and - with nuts and bolts out the back, would only take a few min to switch around
