Viper or Clifford???

Basically just what the title states im looking for a car security alarm, keyless entry, and remote start. clifford but they are ALMOST identical. both produced by DEI. either one is a great product. my clifford goes in today!

I have an old clifford, like G3 or something like that, that my next door neighbor from england gave me. He had it in is Audi A4 that was all tricked. He asked some shady friends of his to steal his car as a bet, but they couldnt beat the system. If that's pre-DEI clifford, I dunno, but I love it. But like somone said before, they're the same company now and are probably the same.

thanks for the information...the clifford is only like 10 to 20 dollars cheaper for almost the exact same thing

They are the same so the deciding factor for me was the remote colors. I would have to say that I like that carbon fiber look of the clifford better

Clifford: CF remote (slightly more recessed buttons),Ugly Red LED with bezel,larger siren (same output),digital shock sensor.

Viper: Blue remote,nicer Blue LED,small/easier to mount siren,standard 504D shock sensor.

This is if your comparing Clifford MATRIX Vs Viper, G5 is a different story. I personally stock,sell and use Clifford.

Thats common. Just be thankful you dont have the 790 with the old remotes.
