Viper d1200.1 from Ikesound?????

I have seen a few threads on her talking about the refurb Directed 1100d from Ikesound and the bad experiences. I was wondering if anyone has recently purchased a Viper d1200.1 and their experience. I was reading on the description of the Directed and it states the item is Refurbished and the Viper states it is Factory Refurbished:eyebrow: .

Not really.

Theres another thread where its said that ikesound refurbished some amps themselves, rather than have the company (in this case directed) refurbish them.

However, I recently bought a refurbished amp from ikesound and it came in a box with a dei sticker on it, saying it was factory refurbished, and there was a DEI warranty paper in the box.

How long ago did you buy your Viper amp, and how has it treated you.

I bought mine about 6 months ago, it's been absolutely wonderful and was in pristene condition when I got it. DEI warranty on mine as well.

It was an Orion, havent got it in yet.

I did buy a Viper 2500 a while ago, never had any trouble with it. Many people on the board run refurbs from ikesound. The majority seem to do fine.
