Spare key sits in a module in the car. I assume it's to trick the starter into thinking the key is in there. Make sure you file it down or something.

on that topic how much u guys think a shop would charge to install if i brought one in?

my old shop charges $200-$250 car dependant. i charge $100-$175 car dependant. back to the topic. the hornet is nice i have installed several. i would have gotten an sst system like the 5900 or 990 or 50.5x. should take about 2.5-4 hours for your car
