viper alarm light problem

sometimes, when i press the lock button on my viper 791 pad, my car will arm and flicker its lights one time. but it would also randomly not flicker at all, but at the same time, arm the vehicle.

car is 03 honda civic and my keyless entry has always worked fine (armed and lights flickered).

im more worried about the security itself that the lights of my vehicle wont flicker once the alarm sets off. (IE: theive breaking into vehicle and only horn will sound without lights flashing:crap: )

has anyone else had this issue? what could be the problem?

hmm I dont think mine even flicker when I arm it

do you mean like the headlights flash?

need to check where the brain taps to the lights wire. mine came off when i was painting the dash. if you had it installed at an authorized DEI shop it should cost nothing to troubleshoot and fix with the lifetime warranty.
