ok guys heres the deal

my dad gifted his car to me, he had a viper 300+ installed back in the day

well....it sucks, i have to stand 3ft from the car to arm/disarm, the lights dont always flash and i think the shock sensor is dead

now that i work at an audio shop i can get a decent deal on a new alarm (im switching to clifford, same parent company better product)

i need to find out how to remove the viper alarm, any1 know wats all attached to it or should i jsut start tracing wires? wheres the most common place to place the alarms brain, i only know where my siren is

An easy indication of where to safely remove the alarm is to trace all wires coming from the brain. If t-taps and crimps are used, that it's easy to find them, just cut or remove, then tape the wires if it's exposed. If they wired up the starter kill, make sure you solder or crimp the starter wire back together.
