Nah I wouldn't do it. Some people run the 2500 @.5ohm daily but Ive never heard of the 1200@.5ohm. I wouldnt do it.

These amps are amazing btw, my dad bought one and installed it today on my L7s @ a 1 ohm load in the expy, man those things hit.

Viper 1200.1 is a 1 ohm amp.

Edit: Nevermind you were talking about the 2500 in that post.

Try it, let us know how it works out. If it gets really hot super quick shut it down, but there is thermal protection on the amp so it'll probably turn itself off, besure you've got a good electrical system as well.

Viper 1200.1 is a 1 ohm amp.

Many amps can be ran lower than what they are rated though

i know i thought u said that the viper 1200.1 is a 2 ohm amp. But you were reffering to the 2500.1d.

I want him to try it and see if it'll work well.
