VIDEO: MY 10" L7, more tuned, more air pressure, 56K NONO!!. first vid sucked

what exactly is it you called? your l5 10 was louder and pushed more air? pics? vids?

hmm i have a vid with front and all 4 windows down i will post them shortly. also my box was like 1.75 cubes at 36 hz and it peaked around 40hz. plus it was my first box and system. i had a prefab and it sucked dick.

kickers designs on their boxes are right on point for their subs bro. you can bet that. mine is tuned a lil high for 1 10@42hz....

i definatly need a box designed. ive never built one before. i know l7's arent meant for SQ but i dont want it to be a one note wonder and sound like shit. what box was your l5 in, and what was it tuned to?

bracing means keeping the box from flexin and it helps re enforce the lows, it was in 1.75 cubes at 36hz. it was a tad to high for me but it depends on wut you like. my l7 tuned to 34 had a lot flatter response. double baffle and wooden dowels brace the box or lots of other things.

give me your max dims and i will throw somthing together for you on the reaudio calc. yes i know how to get the tuning right if anyone says anything.

my monte carlo has a huge trunk. do u really need is dimensions? i mean, its huge. enough to hold 3 18's sealed. guranteed. so whatever you can come up with would be decent. you say your l7 was tuned to 34 but had a flatter response (meaning?) im guessing ill go with mayne 37hz and 1.5 cubes. how does that sound?

did u ever meter your l7? what was it in?

rough guess im at mid 130's

hmm i would 1.75 because it makes your sub more efficient and makes your frequency response better. eh i could design you a box with a pvc port and you could change the tuning as you please if you wanted.

oh my l7 was a 15. it did a 142.6 at the headrest at 39hz. it did a 141.9 with the car off on young joc its going down at the headrest. umm i would guess the l5 could do a 135-138 i never had it metered. it took a zx750.1 for half a year perfectly till i killed it on purpose:laugh: also i have a nissan maxima. the seat doesnt fold down:crying:
