Worked with the crew and spent time hanging out with the Matco Tools Top Fuel dragster of Antron Brown tuned by my buddies dad Lee Beard. What an Amazing 3 days. Qualified P2 then lost in the first round due to such a small driver miscalculation. Anton was so Amped up that he applied almost 200psi more brake pressure then ever before and was also laying on the throttle before launch. This raised the engine Rpm's by 200 and caused the clutch to engage too soon smoking the tires. I had the chance to stand 7 feet from the cars launch...Oh my god is all I can say... Enjoy.

cool, i watched some of this on espn2 today... the finals are being shown late tonight because of rain delay i guess... me and my old man used to go up around columbus ohio for what used to be the spring nationals, the last few times we went it was the pontiac excitement nationals... tv does this sport no justice there is nothing like seeing a top fueler go 330mph.. this is antrons 1st year not on a bike right, and hes ranked pretty high ...

dang that must have been soo sweet being right down there for when the cars launch. It sure is impressive enough being up in the stands and see them hook with over 5,000hp on tap.

Yeah we left early because of the crap you see in the last two pics. We dealt with on and off rain everyday... Yeah its Tron's first year in the dragster. Not bad being number 2 in the points.

Let put it this way. I have been in the stands and there is absolutely no comparison. I was sweating so bad from being tense before they launched and when they did it almost stops your heart. Nothing like it...All i wanted was more!

Friday was a good day too. Did you guys end up getting through all the rounds? It rained a ton on saturday and today.

I love those cars when they go down the track. That shit is so loud and awesome that I can hardly contain myself.
