And after a 2 hour search. No deer. She came in quartering too me and I hit her high in the shoulder....Sounded like a .22 went off when my broadhead slammed into the bone.. Dam deer walked off wobbling like nothing happened.. Trailed her for about 150 yards before I lost the trail...Started making circles and couldn't find her..Going back in the morning to continue looking...

Evenings like this make me lose sleep at night. I cannot stand to lose a deer. And this is my second one this year to lose.

Because I do not believe in shooting an animal and then not trying to find it till your fullest ability.

I don't want to waste all that meat. When you pull the trigger or hit that release, you also have a responsibility.

yea i see what you mean i dont like to wast meat either but odds are she will be all ate up by the time you get to her....you know what you can do tho is buy one of those lights that show blood, my uncle baught one last year and it solved all our tracking problems, last year i shot a 15 point that scored about 150-155 typical and there was blood everywere all up on the trees and then it was like sombody drew a line and it stopped....he brought that thing and we picked up the trail about 15 yards to the right and found it easily after that, the only thing we could figure was the wound clotted up for a while and then it came back open
