I installed a DC lvl 4 18'' with lvl 5 softparts in my 2001 durango....I am very very impressed with this sub. I have a Planet Audio BB 2400.1 powering this sub and it is destroying it. My enclosure is a Flared port enclosure 6 cubes @ 33hz. i have 1 kinetik hc 2400 and 1/0 gauge knukoncept wire throughout. i also have a Pioneer double din deck. I may need 2 upgrade my sub because like i said the amp is destroying it.....Willing 2 Trade the sub plus cash for another 18'' that goes good in 6 cubes

what do you mean destroying... i would get a new amp, that sub is good that amp is not

Maybe in ur eyes but its pushing the sub to the limit.....im thinking another sub 2 handle the watts of the amp

Don't doubt its probably fairly loud, but its not getting 2400rms and not really the cleanest signal, better than AP's though. Find a real 2k amp and you will push these subs, still not anywhere near destroying them. Shouldn't unless you have your gains way to high and clipping.
