Very rusty terminal???

Ok so one of my rainbows must have been sitting in water or somthing because when I took it out to do some deadening the terminals were so rusted that I couldnt even unscrew them... What do you guys suggest I do? Should I put some WD40 on and try and loosen them up or will that damage something?

Careful with the WD40...maybe some navel jelly to clean off the rust once you have it out.

Sorry for the mispelling...it's used to remove rust on cars prior to sanding...

Naval jelly works well on removing rust, I've used it to clean motorcycle parts when restoring one. Check your local car parts store or home depot.

Do it right, fix the problem not the result: Find and fix the water leak. water + any type of electronics = serious no.

No way to keep water off the suspension ftl.

Well it took me 6 hours but I finally got it... Anyone know where I can get some replacements for them? Should I call rainbow or what?
