One of my friends had a Sentrek EQ in his truck back when we were in high school. It was purdy, but that is the only thing good I have to say about it... He had it powering a pair of Oaktron 10s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

My very first system was a Sentrek 2-channel amp and two 10" Sentrek in a prefab bandpass.

well i talked to my dad last night

he said

he used to buy them buy the crate

and sold them to people and installed them

it was one of the only companies

Sentrek was dealt by Radio Shack back in the late 80's and 90's IIRC. I can remember a couple buddies going that route, with a Sentrek amp and a couple Sentrek subs, with Sherwood 6X9s....bumpin around town.....as hard as everyone was on equipment back then, I would say it was a pretty decent bang for the buck, I don't ever recall them having trouble with anything.....but as far as sound...all I can say was they had some ticka ticka, and boom boom!!!!

FYI i worked for sound warehouse when sentrek came and went (mid 80's early early 90's)and they were comparable to mobile authority brand and they were never ever ever sold by radio shack ever ever ever!!!! lolz did i make that clear enough? ok that being said, they were great midline stuff that actually competed with the likes of mtx, and low end RF. That particular amp if it is a gold anodized version is a xenon amp inside and is actually very true clean power the black and white amps were the midline everday amps. but they were all decent bang for the buck. prolly about 150-200 for a midline amp and 250 or so for the gold version (when they were new)
