it dose damage the veichle anything over 140dbs dose damage. flexing and vibrations break things like spot welds and body seams. glove box latches,leaks,door switches,window seals. all things i have seen happen from 140-150 in rides over the yrs. it really loosens everything up and the electrial system dose take a beat down.

lost my mirror, rear hatch leaks in heavy rain,doors dont sit straight,broken roof support,everything comes loose,and several lights no longer work. thats all i have noticed so far.

Actually I watched all the vids associated with that competition. I also stated in the beginning of this thread that I've never even been to a db comp so how the hell should I know.

Its all good though. After a week of reading on this forum I can quickly see that the attitudes of a lot of people here are not any different than those of the people I see rolling around with the mega systems.

People spend a lot of time and a ton of money to have the best sht in town so Ego's and attitudes are to be expected.

I thought I read somewhere on this forum about a guy who cracked a balljoint or something like that from teh bass...

I notice my mirrors dont stay anymore, dash, deck, doors all rattle more. The motor is strained from the extra weight . The loudest I got it to was 144.2
