The whole thing stinks from the props around the room, the "leaked" pictures, choice of venue, and the timeline changes.
The ONLY logical motive is to build a narrative "look how scary all these legal guns and accessories are". Now who was actually involved and to what degree we will likely never know, but I think too many people are calling BS on this and that's why it is taking the back burner in the news right now and will likely be buried further by fresh happenings in the coming week or two (more Hollywood prostitutes having regrets and possibly wikileaks dump coming soon).
Consider if your only aim was to kill a bunch of people you could have done better just renting a big truck and cooking up a bomb or simply driving it through that crowd. If you wanted to shoot people, semi-auto or even bolt action in a proper caliber would be far more effective. The "facts" we've been told just don't make much sense and the local sheriff looks like he's very nervous in the interviews with the FBI guy staring him down.

Good plan. It's pretty brutal that these things keep happening. Can't go anywhere these days without being at risk.
So gun control will come to light. 'Hotel security' is another big one I've been reading about. Hotels gonna start looking like airports. And now I heard suggestions of having sharp shooters on the roofs around large outdoor events with buildings around them...
One thing is for sure...I won't be there.
Imagine New Years in NYC...add some sharp shooters with a chip on their shoulder...no thanks!

Vegas casinos/hotels have face recognition cameras in them, no way they wouldnt know something was going on beforehand if they are telling the truth. I also read somewhere those windows in there were 700 some lbs each and he removed them unbroken. So much b.s..

I also have lots and lots of guns and plan on keeping them until the day I die. Civil war v2 is on the horizon if they try confiscating weapons, it will get wayyyyyy worse before anything is better.

You know what tor browsers are? My buddy is into computers and showed me a few "dark web" sites and you could not believe what you can order online. Literally can buy anything from live claymores, to full auto kriss vectors back to rpg-7 with as many grenades as you want for them. All this legislation does is keep normal people from protecting themselves or property. Obviously they used a guy who bought everything "legally" ...
