VB Calculation

I'm working with a Deaf Bonce Apocalypse DB-SA302 and SubBox.Pro. SubBox.Pro requires a VB. Deaf Bonce does not offer this spec.

I can roughly calculate it off of measurements of the speaker itself. This raises my first question:

*** Is a rough calculation good enough?

Secondly VB affects Net Volume. So:

*** Is VB subtracted from Net to get the true internal box volume, or does the manufacturer account VB when suggesting say 2 ft³?

Vb is the net internal volume, not including port, bracing, woofer, etc. Vd is the woofer displacement. You want to subtract the volume of the woofer from the box to get the net volume. Your calculation should be more than good enough. A tenth of a cubic foot shouldn't really matter. Manufacturer box specs do specify the net volume. You don't have to follow them but it's usually a good starting point.
