Usual Astro Problems?

Are Chevy Astros prone to any type of problems? Like any kind of engine or other problems? Hopefully Ill be buying one in the next couple months and I wanna know what to look out for.

Especially if its an All wheel drive. Also if its an AWD the front gears break easy and not cheap to fix.I have a 97 with 171,00 and nothing major problems yet. Just water pump and alt. Cost me 200 for pump and stock alt. Did the work myself.

They pretty cheap to get work done? Being a van I think it would be a pain in the *** getting to the engine, making it more expensive.

When I get one I want the least amount of miles... Hopefully not over 120,000.

yea we had an astro a long as time ago Dad got rid of it cause it was a pain to work on it was an early 1990s cant remember what year cause I was young

I worked at murrays auto and we usually sold about 3 fuel pumps a day for astros.
