USPS Money Order problem

Wow, most of you need to take it easy, daaammnnn...

Usually before you send out a money order, there are two halves to it. The top half you keep, it has this transaction number or whatever on it. The bottom half, which you send has that identical transaction number.

If you have the top half, I guarantee you will able to cash in your Money Order at the Post Office (not the bank!, as someone mentioned before). If not, then I am pretty sure that if you show them proper ID and all, you should still be good to go.
