this is just getting beyond ridiculous waiting on some registered mail. Last time it hit new york on friday and arrived on monday. Currently mail coming from the same company has been "processing" in new york 7 days now.

Registered mail is very slow. It rides in a special locked bag, is in a safe anyplace it is left between hubs, and has to be signed for by everyone who touches it. You're paying for security not speed. You should consider EXPRESS mail next time if you're in a rush.

100% correct. I worked with usps and its a pain in the ***. If its anything but a PO Box, I send everything Express FedEx. I refuse to use post office unless its my last resort.

I ship 100's of packages a week and use almost entirely USPS. Compared to the other guys they are the best price on most things and are far more reliable. They are also far better at honoring insurance claims.

The Hope Diamond was shipped via registered mail to the Smithsonian museum. It's for security and a paper trail, not speed. I ship a a handfull of registered packages a week and they are slow, but I've never ever had an issue with them, even to some sketchy third world countries that are notorious for "lost" mail. (read light ******** postal workers)

I have the same problem.

My SSD was suppose to ship in today, according to the tracker.

Apparently, its 3 days behind, still shows its in hawaii.

Blah.

You should call the 1800 number. I've never had to wait more than a couple weeks and never been denied.

They have been called plenty of times. They said to go to my local post office to hurry things up, so i went there and showes them them damaged package and canada post said they have nothing to do with it and that its all usps.
