USPS better deliver the packages i sent

Well it was my first time ever shippiing with insurance and the guy at the post office said i wouldn't need it with insurance. Anyways i'm going to the post office later today if the package still doesn't arrive. I saved all of my receipts so i should be good.
I've never heard of the post office saying you would not need insurance..they used to always hound me to put insurance on packages. (fyi I do not use USPS for electronics) but I can gaurentee the packages always made it to their destinations within 7 days. If you did not get confirmation and insurance to skimp out on a 'buck fiddy' then thats your own fault as a seller and member of this forum..atleast for me I think all members should be lookin out for one another.

usps is the only place ive ever used when shipping something, all the refs in my sig + everything ive sold on ebay got mailed out with USPS and all got there either on the given date or even before

i've had no problem with USPS, but i only ship with them when the item can fit in there flat rate boxes. bigger stuff i use fed ex, seems to always be cheaper then ups store.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I got $500 in insurance for the amp i shipped, $500 for the speakers i shipped, and $450 for each sub i shipped. I just didnt get delivery conformation on the first 2 i shipped because the post office guy said with insurance i would'nt need delivery conformation. I Called the post office earlier today and went in and they said shipping parcel post takes 5-7 days so even though they estimated 5 it could take 7. I'm really not sweating it anymore after i talked to the lady at the post office. Here is a pic of all the receipts, insurance tickets and delivery conformations from the packages i've sent out last week and this week.

Also FTR: I us USPS quite often adn stuff usualy gets anywhere in the country within 3-5 days... usualy 2-3 as I do priority but not always...

Usually...I shipped a 60 pound custom btl from florida to new york and it took well over 5 days... it actually took more than 2 weeks and when he got it the basket was cracked... but that was jus one of the many times using usps to ship

Yea i've shipped small stuff USPS before and had good results, it got there fast and the package was in great shape. It's just after reading some of the horror shipping stories on here it just made me kind of wonder. I think they'll get there, just might take a little longer than expected i guess.

No government run entity will ever be as efficient as a privately owned entity due to competition. USPS is total fail. The packages get there slower or don't get there. The mail gets lost frequently or delivered to the wrong place. These are all reasons to be scared shitless that our healthcare is about to be controlled by the government...
