Using stock amp wiring in an Expedition?

So I'm trying to make a custom system on a budget. I got 2 MTX 12"s that work great in a box(will be making a custom box soon) and a 900w rockford fosgate amp for real cheap. I also picked up a rockford fosgate 1 farad cap for pretty cheap too.

I have a 1998 Eddie Bauer expedition, if anyone has had experience with these you know there is a large panel in the back that houses the stock amp and sub. I was wondering, is it a bad idea to use the wires which go to the stock amp for my new system? What I was going to do was put the cap and amp where the old amp and sub was and make a nice plexi glass door over that, this way I can make a nice ported box behind the 3rd row to fit both subs. Do you think the stock wires should be sufficient?

I'm stripping the panels out today to get access to everything, the only problem I think should arise is the wires maybe being to small of a gauge?

So, overall questions:

Will the stock wiring be good enough for my setup?

If maybe, why? And should I still go with a full wiring kit?

...remember I'm trying to do all this on a small budget.

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.
