using rounded edges?

im building a dual vented enclosure for 2 DA D6 woofers and im using the recommended box plans. Its says to use rounded edges to eliminate port noise, is this neccecary? if so how do you recommend i do it?

either use a router or just sand down the corners. i sanded mine and i have no port noise.
