using amp without HU

i found the problem..i screwed through a wire when i reinstalled the molding thus it shorted out on the body and caused the fuse to blow...i solved that problem and now everything works great, my HU arrives tommorow

so now i got a new problem i have the amp wired into the lights in the interior right now and it causes them to dim badly....would it stop if i wired it to the battery, its only a 120W amp

Are you meaning that the 12v power being supplied to your amp is coming from the interior light circuit in the fusebox or something similar?

*sigh*

Run a power cable directly to the '+' of your battery.

If you've done what I posted that I think you did I would expect it to badly dim your interior lights - that's what, like a 10 amp circuit or so? Meaning it is designed to continuously provide less than 10 amperes of current. Powering your amp there = //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif
