using a different ohm speaker with P crossover?

I've got mb quart passive crossovers and want to use an infinity 2ohm mid. Will this hurt the crossover? the mb quart mid is 4ohm. I'm fed up with the mb quart being a coxial:mad:
It will effect the point in which the mids/tweeters are crossed over if the speaker has a different impedance I believe.

I wouldn't necessarily try it without further info, as I'm not sure how much it effects it or if theres some sort of equation to calculate it.

well i was using an 8ohm speaker for a while, didnt sound too clean when i turned it up. mb quart mid 4ohm sounds better. hmmm never thought it would have an effect on crossover point. I'll try it out and see if i can hear a difference
