using a cap just for the display

i was thinking of tossing an old one in and hooking it up just for looks and so people would dis it at the CA chicago meet. i may disconnect the actual leads into it if any one whos opinion matters thinks i should. What are the negatives I know i dont need it I have 2 batteries but why not?

slightly more load, think of it has having your lights on or something (it even be as much as that)

if you have a solid electrical it won't make any difference, and you probably won't notice a difference anyway
