Using 4 AWG for Big Three

I want to do the big three and I have a ton of 4 AWG laying around (with crimps) and don't want to spend the money on 1/0 gauge. Will doing two runs of 4 Gauge work? I was looking at my stock wiring and it is smaller than four gauge so I am assuming it will be an upgrade no matter what...

It will work just fine.

It will be a improvement over the 8-10 guage factory stuff.
