using 1 run of power wire for 2 amps w/o distro block

hey i have 1 run of 4 gauge with 150 amp fuse thats gonna be going to an infinity 611a, once its run to the infinity, can i connect the infinity's power terminal to my kicker 200.2 power terminal using an extra piece of 4 gauge or so ? also can this be done for the remote wire?

the infinity has only 60 amp rating and the little 200.2 im sure wont take over 25

whats wrong with it? its the same principle as a distroblock w/o the distro...

put power wire into mono amp, slip in extra 4 gauge, tighten it down, then just put the extra 4 gauge into the kicker , and tighten that down (with seperate grounds of course) im just tryin to work with what i got... i got a box of random wires im gonna try to work with

The point we're trying to get across is that whether it works or not, it's half assing it when you can spend a little money and make everything nice and clean....

well, if ur amp is meant for four gauge power wire... you wont be able to fit two 4 gauges into it, and if its meant for 0 gauge and your running 4 gauge, then you are all wrong anyway. but hey, its your equipment, 'ef it up ftW!!!

how is it half assing? its not like im cutting a wire harness to do a hard wire ... and it would look very clean , both amps next to each other with a shared rem, bat, and since the 611 takes rca's , "shared looking" rca's... so basically besides speaker out's the kicker is almost completly plugged into the other amp

:sigh:

everyone here recommended you just spend a little money and buy a distro block. Does that not mean anything? why'd you make the thread if you weren't gonna take advice?

but of course we know nothing....it's your equipment, do what you want with it.
