Installing aMps, need help few questions.

I am installing my Eclipse Xa series 4000 amp to powder my Memphis MCSQ 6.5 seperates in the fronts and rears. and the XA1000 to pwer my sub.

Do I have to set the amps setting to highpass, being that I am running the passive crossovers? Wont the passive crossovers put the right frequences to the speakers? Why would I need to set the am to highpass? And there is a bass boost module adjustment, what do I do with that? Please help.

I always thought that if you are running the crossovers to protect the speakers, you would use the amp setting at fullrange?

as for the bass boost leave it at almost off just a little up not much though
