I have an Alpine ilx-f411 head unit.
Here is how I have my music stored on my USB
1) I have a folder for each artist.
2) In each artist's folder I have multiple folders--one for each album.
3) In each album folder I have the music files.
In my previous Alpine head unit (cue-hd149bt) there was no problem.
In my new head unit here is what happens
I do not get to see the list of artists. It just list all the albums in the correct order (1st the album from the 1st artist ...and then eventually the 4th album from the 25 artist, ,,, etc.)
I have a lot of albums and it is MUCH easier and safer to navigate via the artist list to the album to the song. then from an album to a song. Of course I do listen to the whole album much of the time.
Alpine says that the head unit does not allow a folder within a folder.
My question here is there a way around this problem?
Thank you,
Jomo
